When patients and families truly understand a disease and its therapies in simple language, fear gives way to clarity, confidence, and hope — making every healthcare journey more informed, empowered, and humane.

CAR-T AI Agent

The CAR-T AI Agent by Cellogen Therapeutics is a specialized artificial intelligence platform designed to simplify and accelerate access to CAR-T cell therapy knowledge. Built for patients, clinicians, and researchers, the platform provides evidence-based answers, clinical insights, and research support through three dedicated portals. Patients receive easy-to-understand guidance on treatment and recovery, while doctors access rapid, guidelinebacked clinical recommendations. Researchers can explore clinical trials, scientific literature, and advanced cellular data. By combining biomedical AI models with trusted medical databases, the CAR-T AI Agent aims to make advanced cancer therapy more understandable, accessible, and clinically actionable across India and globally.

What makes CAR-T AI Agent special

CAR-T AI Agent

What makes the CAR-T AI Agent unique is its deep specialization in CAR-T cell therapy rather than broad, generalized medical AI. The platform uses a three-layer evidence system combining smart medical retrieval, biomedical AI models, and clear language synthesis to ensure accurate, trustworthy responses. Integrated with clinical guidelines, PubMed, and ClinicalTrials.gov, it delivers real-time, evidence-backed support for patients, oncologists, and researchers. Its importance lies in reducing confusion around a complex cancer therapy, supporting faster clinical decisions, improving patient understanding, and accelerating research. In emerging CAR-T markets like India, such tools can significantly improve awareness, accessibility, and informed care.

The Science Behind CAR-T Cell Therapy

CAR-T AI Agent

CAR-T Cell Therapy, or Chimeric Antigen Receptor Tcell Therapy, is an advanced immunotherapy that uses a patient’s own immune cells to fight cancer. T-cells are collected from the patient’s blood and genetically engineered in a laboratory to recognize cancer cells more effectively.

CAR-T Cell=T Cell + Chimeric Antigen Receptor These modified cells are multiplied and infused back into the body, where they target cancer-associated proteins such as CD19 or BCMA. CAR-T therapy has shown remarkable success in treating leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma, offering new hope to patients with difficult-to-treat cancers and advancing the future of personalized oncology.

BOSTON, USA

At the annual meeting of the American Society of Gene and Cell Therapy held in Boston, researchers unveiled promising early results of a CAR-T cell therapy designed to control HIV infection. Scientists reported that two patients maintained undetectable HIV levels for up to two years after receiving a single infusion of engineered CAR-T cells — without regular HIV medication.

The study, led by Dr. Steven Deeks, a professor of medicine in residence at the University of California, San Francisco, highlights the growing potential of CART therapy beyond cancer treatment and opens new possibilities for a future “functional cure” for HIV.

Biotech startup Cellogen Therapeutics has secured ₹20 Cr (about $2 Mn) in funding from Kotak Alternate Asset Managers (Kotak Alts). The startup plans to use the capital to advance its CAR‑T clinical programmes, expand its gene therapy pipeline, and strengthen its GMP‑compliant manufacturing and regulatory capabilities.

Kotak Alts made the investment through the Kotak Life Sciences Fund I (KLSF-I), an investment vehicle for early- and growth-stage lifescience and healthtech ventures.
